"Raffle for Success" Win an SAT Success Course or College Essay Package from Georgetown Learning Centers
Congratulations to choral student Rachael Bumsted for winning the Georgetown Learning Center's SAT Review Course! Twenty-six tickets were purchased, netting the Guild $650 toward the cost of our new sound system! Thank you to all who participated.
SATs are a fact of life for high school students, and the Langley Choral Guild wants to help a lucky student get prepared. Here’s your chance to win an SAT SUCCESS COURSE from Georgetown Learning Centers, valued at $699. The SAT Success Course includes 28 hours of instruction, 14 hours of study lounge, 3 full-length diagnostic tests, all books, and materials. The winner can select any session at either the McLean or Great Falls location. Instead of the SAT course, the winner has the option to select a College Essay Package. Georgetown Learning Centers has created a special package exclusively for us. The winner will get 4 private sessions with a tutor to help brainstorm topics, examine different essay question types, and outline the essays. The tutor can then help to revise, edit, and polish these essays. The winner can chose either the McLean or Great Falls GLC location.
Whether the winner chooses the SAT course or the College Essay Package, there is no expiration date by which the course or package must be used. So the raffle benefits all students!
But before you can win, you have to purchase a raffle ticket. Tickets are $25.00 each and can be purchased from 7:00 to 7:30 PM in the LHS auditorium lobby before our Fall Choral Concert on Tuesday, October 21st. Proceeds will help the Guild purchase a new sound system for recording concert performances. The drawing, officiated by Stephanie Osborn of Georgetown Learning Centers, will be held at the end of the concert. Though you need not be present to win, we sure would love to share in your excitement!
Good luck to all!!
